SH55
Strength and hypertrophy55 weeks
SH55 is a serious training program for beginners who want real results, not quick promises. It builds your base first, takes you through your first cut, grows strength and muscle over time, and finishes with a final cut to reveal the work.
Program plan
Your 55-week roadmap, structured phase by phase.
Intro
5 weeksThis phase builds your foundation. You will learn the core movement patterns, understand the difference between strength work and hypertrophy work, and get comfortable training with structure instead of guessing. The goal is not to chase numbers yet, but to build skill, confidence, and gym discipline around the lifts that matter most.
| Week Number | Dates | Split | Complexity |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | — | Compound Movements | Hard |
| 2 | — | Accessory Exercises | Medium |
| 3 | — | Foundation Of Bulding Strenght | Hard |
| 4 | — | Foundation Of Muscle Growth | Medium |
| 5 | — | Deload & Low-Volume | Easy |
By the end of this phase, you should move with better control, understand your main exercises, and feel more confident in the gym. You will know how to approach compound lifts, how accessory work supports them, and why deload and low-volume weeks are part of progress rather than a step backward.
First Cut
14 weeksThis is your first real training block. You will alternate strength weeks and hypertrophy weeks to build usable strength, preserve muscle, and improve your physique while getting leaner. The structure is designed to help beginners make visible progress without burning out, using deloads and recalibration weeks to keep training sustainable.
| Week Number | Dates | Split | Complexity |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | — | Strenght | Hard |
| 2 | — | Hypertrophy | Medium |
| 3 | — | De-load | Easy |
| 4 | — | Strenght | Hard |
| 5 | — | Hypertrophy | Medium |
| 6 | — | De-load | Easy |
| 7 | — | Rest & Program Recaibration | Easy |
| 8 | — | Strenght | Hard |
| 9 | — | Hypertrophy | Medium |
| 10 | — | De-load | Easy |
| 11 | — | Strenght | Hard |
| 12 | — | Hypertrophy | Medium |
| 13 | — | De-load | Easy |
| 14 | — | Rest & Program Recaibration | Easy |
By the end of this phase, you should look noticeably sharper, feel stronger in the gym, and have a much better sense of how your body responds to training. You may not look finished, but you should be leaner, more athletic, and far more capable than when you started.
Lean Bulk
21 weeksThis is the main growth phase of the program. After building your base and improving body composition, you now spend time adding strength and lean muscle through repeated cycles of tension, volume, recovery, and recalibration. This is where patience pays off and where real physical development starts to show.
| Week Number | Dates | Split | Complexity |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | — | Strenght | Hard |
| 2 | — | Hypertrophy | Medium |
| 3 | — | De-load | Easy |

| 18 | — | Strenght | Hard |
| 19 | — | Hypertrophy | Medium |
| 20 | — | De-load | Easy |
| 21 | — | Rest & Program Recaibration | Easy |
By the end of this phase, you should have more muscle, better performance on key lifts, and a stronger overall frame. You will not just feel like someone who goes to the gym, but like someone who actually knows how to train and progress with purpose.
Second Cut
15 weeksThis final phase is about revealing what you built. You will use the same proven training structure to hold onto strength, keep muscle stimulated, and gradually sharpen your physique. The last mastery weeks are there to consolidate technique, move well, and finish the program feeling in control rather than exhausted.
| Week Number | Dates | Split | Complexity |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | — | Strenght | Hard |
| 2 | — | Hypertrophy | Medium |
| 3 | — | De-load | Easy |
| 4 | — | Strenght | Hard |
| 5 | — | Hypertrophy | Medium |
| 6 | — | De-load | Easy |

| 12 | — | Hypertrophy | Medium |
| 13 | — | De-load | Easy |
| 14 | — | Gym Mastery: Strenght | Medium |
| 15 | — | Gym Mastery: Hypertrophy | Medium |
By the end of this phase, you should be in the best shape of the entire program: leaner, stronger, more technically solid, and more physically capable than when you began. More importantly, you will have built the habits and understanding needed to keep progressing long after the 55 weeks are over.
